The Landingville Fire Company held their first breakfast of the season today so our crew decided to check it out. We were not disappointed! We arrived around 9 AM and did not have too much trouble finding four seats together. The place was packed full of people.
Their menu has a wide variety of options and includes something for everyone. Bryan ordered the S.O.S. over homefries, or the #11 on their menu. Matt went with the #3, which was two eggs (scrambled), sausage and homefries. Mike and Tonto both ordered the #1 (Landingville Special). This platter included the works: eggs, mackerel, ham, sausage, bacon, and homefries.

Establishment: 4/5 – The hall was huge and had plenty of seating. Like I said, we didn’t have trouble finding seats, but there were people waiting by the time we were finished.
Service: 5/5 – Even with a packed house, we only waited 16-minutes for our food. The waitress was extremely nice and accommodating. Each table had their own coffee carafe so that we could pour our own. The tables also included condiments such as ketchup, horseradish, and homemade pepper cabbage which Mike seemed to enjoy.

Appearance: 5/5 – Wow! You better bring your appetite if you decide to come here. These portions were the largest we’ve encountered thus far. Mike and Tonto’s meals were so large, they barely fit in the picture. The amount of meat they received was jaw-dropping…and look at all of those homefries! You won’t leave this place hungry, that’s for sure!
Taste: 4/5 – Everything we tasted was homemade and delicious. The sausage was fresh and cooked perfectly. Their homefries had a seasoning on them that was unique compared to other restaurants. Matt and Mike thought it could have been cooked more, though. The mackerel was a nice addition for fish-lovers and you won’t find it on many menus throughout the county. Bryan thought the S.O.S. was the best he’s ever had. The only real negative here was that their toast wasn’t toasted real well and was a little soggy.
Price: 5/5 – The prices were cheap and it included our unlimited coffee and tax. The #1 Special was $11 but considering the serving size, you definitely get your moneys worth.
Our crew had a great time this morning at the Landingville Fire Company. Their breakfasts will be served every other Sunday until April, from 7 AM – 12:15 PM. If you are a breakfast lover and want to support a good cause, we highly recommend checking it out! You will not leave hungry!
