Creekside Restaurant

The Breakfast in the Skook crew’s next stop took us to the Creekside Restaurant, which is located off Ringtown Boulevard in Ringtown. We have heard good things about their dinners, so we decided to see how their breakfast holds up. Our entire crew was intact today (Bryan, Matt, Mike and Tonto). Matt was in the Christmas spirit and wore his “Meowy Christmas” ugly sweater t-shirt with a cat on it!

As you can see from the menu, they have a lot of options to choose from. Matt ordered his usual, the “222 Combo”, which includes two eggs, two strips of bacon, two sausage links, homefries, toast and jelly. Mike went with the “Ranch House Breakfast”, which is two eggs (over-easy), choice of meat (he chose country fried steak), homefries, and a biscuit smothered in sausage gravy. Bryan ordered the “Pepperoni & Provolone Omelette”, which is simply an egg omelette with pepperoni slices and provolone cheese inside. The Mighty Tonto was back this week and decided to try the “Sausage & Mushroom Omelette”, which included sausage, mushrooms and cheese.

Establishment: 3/5 – Nice little restaurant located off Ringtown Blvd. on the way to town. There is plenty of parking here. The exterior doesn’t look like much, but the interior was nice. It was clean and included two dining rooms with tables and chairs.

Service: 4/5 – Our service was prompt and satisfactory. The waitress frequently asked us for refills on our coffees. It took us 19-minutes to receive our food from the time we ordered. We deducted a point because our waitress originally forgot to bring out our toast.

Appearance: 4/5 – Our platters looked great, and they were even served with a pineapple wedge. There was not much plate room for the food, which could be a good or bad thing, depending on your plate-size preference.

Taste: 3.5/5 – Not bad at all. Bryan and Tonto thought their omelettes were very good and everyone was in agreement that the homefries were AMAZING. Yes, that’s amazing in all capitals! Matt thought they were cooked perfectly, or should I say “purr-fectly”? We all thought the coffee was also very good.

Price: 5/5 – Cheap price for a good meal. You can’t go wrong with a $33.50 bill for four people!

All in all, the Creekside Restaurant in Ringtown offers a good dining experience with a family-friendly atmosphere. If you are looking to expand your horizons and travel a few minutes north of the mountain, we’d highly recommend trying out the Creekside Restaurant!
